The Flight Stand 50 by Tyto Robotics is a high-precision thrust stand designed for testing medium to large UAV motors and propellers, capable of measuring up to 50 kgf of thrust and 30 Nm of torque. Its Pro version features a 1,000 Hz sampling rate, enabling detailed analysis of vibrations, ESC responsiveness, and dynamic motor-propeller behavior. Equipped with ASTM E74/E2624 calibrated load cells, it ensures measurement accuracy within ±0.5% of the measured value. The system supports Distributed Electric Propulsion (DEP) testing for up to 8 powertrains simultaneously, with comprehensive data acquisition including RPM, voltage, current, power, and efficiency metrics. Integrated with Flight Stand Software, it offers manual and automated testing capabilities, Python API control, and compatibility with CAN ESCs and external sensors.
